Yokohama is a Tokyo-based tyre manufacturer operational since 1917. It expanded to America with the name of Yokohama Tire Corporation. The company believes in a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment, and to duly fulfill that, it no longer uses CFC and trichloroethane in the manufacturing process to reduce CO2 emissions.

Yokohama was also the official sponsor of Chelsea Football Club till the 2019-2020 season. It is one of the premier tyre manufacturers today and is the official sponsor of Macau Grand Prix Formula 3 Intercontinental Cup since 2015.
